Learn the basics

Welcome to Zoliax. In this chapter you learn the parts of a workspace and where everything lives, so the rest of the guide makes sense.

Your workspace

A workspace is your company’s place in Zoliax. It has its own private database, its own people and its own settings. Most teams have one workspace; you can belong to more.

The first page you see is the dashboard: your plan, quick links to every part of the workspace, your open items and what is due.

Boards, projects and cards

A board has columns (like To do, Doing, Done) and cards for each piece of work. A project is a board with more: work item types, sprints, a backlog, a timeline and a dashboard of its own.

Start with a board when the work is simple. Turn it into a project when it grows; nothing has to move.

Everything around the work

Next to boards and projects you have the agenda (due dates and events), messages (chat and announcements), shared spaces (files and notes), clients and billing.
